Preben's parents came to visit!

Last weekend, Anne Turid and Per Otto came to visit us. We had a nice weekend with a lot of eating, fun and games.


Preben's mom even made me this nice Norwegian birthday cake filled with cream and pineapples. :)

During the weekend, we took a trip downtown to the Oil Museum. It was interesting and educational, and fun to see exactly what Preben works with :)

Here we are in the lobby of the museum near the gift shop. :)

They had all these exact replicas of the offshore rigs at the museum, which were really detailed and cool to look at. Preben has been to one in real life, but I can't remember if this was the one he was at or not. We'll pretend it is :)

They had these little playground looking things that came down through the roof. They have them there so people can try them out to see what the offshore workers have on the rigs in the ocean. Theworkers have to go down them if there is an emergency while working out on the sea. The real ones are of course much longer. This was still fun though!

This was a little interactive part of the place. Basically some video games for the boys. ;)
