Pops!

My sweet Dad made the trip to see his grandbabes because he was so jealous with all the stories that Mom & Amy brought home to him.  

We put him to work!  He was so sweet to paint Liam's room for us. :)

He took the boys on walks

and tuckered them out.

being the hard worker he is, Noah fully enjoyed Labor Day.

THIS was spotted on our back patio.

Tarantula?!?!?  

actually no.  I looked it up just before I called animal control  (jk) and it's a Wolf Spider.

We threw a cu-tip next to it so we could get some perspective in the picture to show the bug guy, but he literally attacked it!  YIKES!  But he was about as big as my hand.  The biggest spider I've seen in real life that wasn't behind glass.  

We really need to get out of Texas.

Pops didn't give a limit of how many books Noah is allowed to pick.  Naturally Noah took full advantage to stay up as late as possible and Pops read about 19 books.
