Bunads!

We were not able to attend the annual parade and church service down at the Norwegian church here in Houston this year, just because we've had so much going on, but that did not stop us from celebrating Norwegian Constitution Day!  

Hipp! Hipp Hipp! 

The good news is, though, is that Preben is DONE with his thesis!!!!  

Praise GOD!  

We are so happy this chapter in our lives is done with (hopefully! :) as long as he passes)  and we are SO ready to get back to enjoying spending time together and time with our friends.

Our friend Savannah, surprised Preben with a Norwegian cake for his completion present and for May 17th.  

-She even researched the different kinds of Norwegian filling and  cake recipes for it!  She is so sweet and it was sooo good!! :)

She even used marzipan, which is something all the Norwegians love. :)
