I know you Georgians are complaining, but it's even hotter here in Houston!! -the other day it "felt like" (that's what the weather guy said) 107° F with the humidity.
We took a quick trip to Atlanta to see my little sister Sara off before she headed to Bangladesh for 7 months. I got to catch up with some friends and family while Preben got some time in to work on his thesis which was nice.
The plane rides with Noah weren't easy, but thankfully it's a little less than 2 hours in the air :) but the trip was worth it because it's always fun to go home!

We got there just in time for Sara's big going away bash!
Of course we had family night.
Here's some of the fam checkin out Sara's Bangladesh fact board that Amy and a friend made for the party
Preben and Amy went off every day to the favorite local coffee shop to get some studying/ thesis writing done.
Here's Amy getting a lot of studying done :)
I stopped by for a quick visit to monitor their progress,
-and to eat a chocolate muffin
I got to meet a few members from my old high school Bible study for breakfast one morning!
We all happened to be in town at the same time!
Noah had fun too:
He got to spend lots of fun time with his favorite nanny before she departed across the sea.
Apparently he learned how to put on make-up
-he really needs some more uncles.
Sara and Amy- can you get on that please?
cousins would be nice too!
He got to tickle the ivories... Bapa would have been so proud.
(my beloved grandfather who was an excellent player)
desperately tried to win Deacon's affection.
and now he also knows where noses are!
(thanks Lolli!)
Thank you Harwoods for another memorable, busy visit!
We love you guys!!
**special thanks to Amy for supplying most of these pictures!
