His Chair
Oh how he LOVES his chair. As soon as it came in the mail from our favorite UPS guy and we started opening it, he knew it was for him. He reads books in it, plays in it, lounges in it, cuddles in it, watches movies in it, and he just loves it.
They sell them at Pottery Barn Kids, I've seen them at Target, but we got ours from The Land of Nod. It's a little pricey, (around $100) but we say almost daily how much he loves his chair. For us, it was worth every penny!
he looks just like Pops here.
Ball Popper
Noah has loved this since he was 5 months old and almost sitting- and he still loves it more than any of his other toys. We very occasionally find blocks and other toys inside the tubes, and the music does get old after about the 200th time of pushing the button, but we have definitely gotten our money's worth out of this one. I would almost bet my head that we've spent more money on the batteries to keep it going, than we've spent on the toy. It costs around $20 on amazon.
see the blocks inside?
Balls in general
Give him a ball, and he'll be happy for hours. He collects them, and hides them in my rain boots, or puts them in our recycling, there's always one or two or three under the couches, and beds, and we find them in the strangest places. Again, he's like a dog sometimes, and hides his little treasures. He almost always has a ball in his hands at all times.
One of his three words he can say, is BAWL. (ball) He loves them.
There are no quick trips to Target anymore.
Bawl??
Under the bed!
Bath Duck
This was the only thing Preben really choose for our baby registry. Thank you Kathryn Baird for buying it! He loves this one so much that we bought another. -One for the pool and one for the bath tub. We've taken it out of the tub so he can play in it and he loves getting in and out of it over and over again. Another thing we've had since he was very small and we still use it. It's around $10 at Target.
Good Night Moon
By Margaret Wise Brown
He's loved this book since we started looking at books, which was very early. He still doesn't get tired of it. Even my mom had it when she was little, so it's a classic that every kid loves.
