Our favorite top 10 baby items, in no particular order:

Diaper Genie
This you will be using as soon as you take your little booger home from the hospital. A great way to keep the air smellin' fresh and clean, as well as disposing neatly of your little one's diapers.

Baby Play Mat
This comes in all different shapes and sizes, very basic or very fancy. Either way, it's a great place to put your babe to stimulate their brain while you have to take a potty or a lunch break.
Baby Sense SIDS Monitor
This is amazing! It can detect the slightest movements (baby breathing) and if it doesn't detect anything within 20 seconds, an alarm sounds to alert you something is wrong as well as waking up baby enough to startle them back into breathing again. It helped me sleep deeper at night. (about 100 bucks). worth it? YES.
-Preben had a friend who lost their baby to SIDS at 9 months old. Scary and sad.

Pack n' Play
This is wonderful in the first few weeks/months of life. Just keep this in your bedroom, so you don't have to go all the way to the baby's room for early morning feedings. Plus you can use it later when you're traveling (folds up to decent size) for them to sleep in, or can be used as a safe place to keep your child in when you have to do something and can't worry about them crawling around.

Beba Baby Cook
If you want to make your own baby food, this is where it's at. It steams and chops in one little pitcher and you can store the food from there. Very convenient, pretty pricey, but if it's important to you to make your own baby food, this beats dragging out the pots and food processor!

Bumbo
Oh we love the Bumbo. A great thing for them to use their muscles to begin to sit up, and keeps them busy looking around. We put our on our kitchen table while Noah watches us eat. He stayed very content in it!

Snap n' Go Stroller
This is about 60 bucks, can fit most car seats, super light, and fits into most trunks pretty wonderfully! We just keep ours in the car at all times.

BabyBjörn carrier
Awesome for carrying baby around when they just don't want to be alone, or are bored and want to see the world. Not too bad for your back!

Exersaucer
Entertaining, good babysitter, and fun way for them to use their leg muscles.
This particular one looks a little over stimulating, but there are lots to choose from! :)
