We were lucky to celelebrate July 4th weekend with two of our very good friends, Lauren and Brad in Denver, Colorado. We finally got to see their wonderful house and the city of Denver :)
On Friday we went to a huge REI store and also enjoyed some time by a local river. People were tubing down the river even though the water was freezing cold... Here's Ellen enjoying some Starbucks:)
We celebrated July 4th with neighbors of Lauren and Brad who had arranged a block party with lots of good food and nice people.

On Saturday, the day after July 4th, Lauren and Brad took us to Boulder. Boulder is a very cozy student city about 1hr from Denver. We walked up and down the streets and enjoyed some falaffels! at a park downtown
We also stopped at Boulder Falls for a small excursion:)
We had a great time in Denver, and we absolutely love the sporty lifestyle and the possibilities for outdoor activities in Colorado... Can't wait to come back...
